Piyawee Ruenjinda is the founder and Managing Director of Stonewater Limited, a high-end travel company based in Bangkok. Her passion for travel started in childhood when her parents, both university academics, took their children on field trips led by biology professors. She is the co-founder of a successful internet-based travel company, the Country Manager for a London-based travel company, and the General Manager for a Bangkok-based hip hostel.

Her background includes experience in the technology, medical devices, and travel industries. Piyawee spent several years in management positions as assistant to the executive, a quality assurance manager, and as the co-founder of an internet-related business. She has traveled extensively both domestically and abroad and spent several years in the Philippines. Travel is more a means to an education than a leisure activity. Exposure to new experiences and environments provides a great opportunity to learn. Piyawee makes it a habit to utilize life experience as a way to develop and improve herself.

She holds a BBA in Quantitative Management from Chulalongkorn University and a MBA in Marketing Management from Thailand's National Institute of Development Administration. Her interests include travel, research, people, youth, and women's issues.
